Solution: Setting up Mac OSX Mail

1. Start the Mail application.

2. Click on Mail, located in the top left hand side of the screen next to the Apple symbol.

3. Click Preferences and set the following options:

Incoming mail server = mail.yourdomain.co.nz
Outgoing mail server = smtp.yourisp.co.nz

4. If your ISP requires you login to your outgoing SMTP server, in the Accounts screen select the Server Settings button located at the bottom of the window.

5. Select Authentication and set it to password.

6. Enter your the username and password provided to you by your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

7. Click OK.
