Domain Name Rules

• Use only letters, numbers, or hyphen ("-")
• Name segments may not begin or end with a hyphen.
• The main name cannot exceed 63 characters in total.
• .info and .biz must have at least 3 characters not including .info or .biz
• Some length rules vary.
• Domain names are not case sensitive.
• Domain Names cannot include spaces.
• Subdomains (e.g. subdomain.yourdomain.co.nz) may not be registered - you must own yourdomain.co.nz then ask your hosting administrator to set up the subdomain.
